Can I Count On You to Buy My New Book?

September 16, 2015 by Danyelle Little

Danyelle Little

I’ve been keeping a secret (sort of). You see, I’ve been in the lab working on a few projects, and one such item is a book that I c0-authored called Personal Professional and Positive: The 30 Day Challenge. The book has been in the works since February, and we are finally in the final stages and almost ready to go to print.

I am co-authoring the book with my friend and colleague Telie Woods, founder of Think Positive Magazine, a platform that encourages affirming topics and news to enlighten and inform others. With his strong brand of fostering positivity amongst the masses, and with my personal brand focusing on helping working parents get the best out of both of their worlds, coming together to write this book made sense.

This book is for anyone who wants to go above and beyond being status quo and mediocre while replacing poor habits with good ones that can help grow you into the person you’ve always wanted to be. On each and every page, you will learn how to power-up your purpose, shed excess baggage, move forward with tenacity, unblock your success, and so much more. We have been working hard on releasing a book that can impact you and encourage you to step into your time with a strong mindset.

Why You Should Utilize Work Life Management for Success {Video}

August 19, 2015 by Danyelle Little

Danyelle Little vlog

Work Life Management is the act of managing both your personal & the professional life in a positive fashion. It is a useful tool that helps you soar while keeping you full, yet less stressed. We may not have the ability to have it all, but we can work towards ultimate fulfillment which can create a healthy lifestyle for not only ourselves, but our families as well. I began as a Work Life Balance proponent, but found that the word ‘balance’ constitutes something that may never be achieved by most humans. But management and the active use of creating systems and boundaries for our lives is something we can all not only achieve, but be successful at as well.

What’s Your Price?

August 13, 2015 by Danyelle Little

What's Your Price

When helping people with their personal brands and creating a digital movement, I often ask my clients to begin with their PRICE.

It is a tool that you can use to truly delve into how you want to do business, who you want to attract, as well as who or what you can lend value to. PRICE doesn’t have so much to with the actual charging of services that you will be conducting, but more about the overall foundation of how you will do business.

Let’s delve into it a little more.

#Periscope of My Lunch and Learn: Turning Your Passion into a Monetized Movement

August 9, 2015 by Danyelle Little

I’ve been on Periscope for a minute, but last week, I did my first in a series of Lunch and Learns which I hope will educate, inform, and empower my viewers. And since Periscope only allows rebroadcasts to air up to 24 hours after it’s recorded, I saved the video to my Dropbox so I could upload and share here.

Join The Cubicle Chick

Many people refer to themselves as personal brands and I am all for that. But I like to use the word movement, because it invokes power and community. When you speak of yourself and what it is you are doing as a movement, it gets other people involved. It becomes an “us” and a “we” thing and less of a “me” or “I” thing. For example, The Cubicle Chick, my personal brand, is named after me, a woman who discusses career and lifestyle. But it has grown into a movement of contributors and readers who want to learn more about being a better working parent while living their best lives personally and professionally.

My movement is no longer just about me but others as well.

And with your movement, you can make a profit, too. So in this Periscope Lunch and Learn, I am breaking down how you can utilize your passion while turning it into a monetized movement.

Watch the rebroadcast of the Lunch and Learn below.

10 Reasons Why Failing Works

10 Reasons Why Failing Works

At any given time, you can search the web and read hundreds of thousands articles and stories about entrepreneurs and careerists who are sharing their success secrets. What we as the end user sees is often the glossy part of their story. The red carpets, the adoration, the riches, the vacations—I could go on and on. But what we don’t see is the not so good days that they had to get to where they are today. The rejections, the slammed doors in their faces, the chase. One thing most of these stories have in common as that at one time or another, they failed. And it was in that failure that they learned and the took it and flipped it.

I, too, was a failure.

I, too, still fail.

Failing is the physical result of trying out your ideas. And it also can act as a blueprint to help propel you to heights you’ve only dreamt of.

Are you with me?

Here’s a list of 10 reasons why failing works. And why failing is important for reaching your ultimate potential and greatness.
