I just got back from Charlotte where I was in town for Type A Conference. The conference experience was amazing, and I not only learned a lot, but I also got to meet a lot of my blogging friends in person for the very first time.
During the event, one of the sponsors, Shot At Life, had an artist on hand to draw caricatures of attendees. The result of mine was nothing short of fabulous. I think it captured my personality and brand flawlessly!
On Thursday, June 14th, I had the pleasure of co-hosting a special VIP event for the Grand Opening of La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery in Brentwood. It was an awesome gathering of special guests, St. Louis elite, La-Z-Boy employees, and local media, and it was fabulous seeing the store before it officially opened to the public.
We were treated to amazing appetizers, fabulous drinks, and even a small band played music while we networked and tested out the furniture. I was very impressed with the offerings La-Z-Boy had on the showroom floor and will be buying a few pieces from the store to add to my home.
After contemplating long and hard about whether or not I should start yet another website, I went ahead and took the plunge. Mainly because, as my main website, TheCubicleChick.com grows larger, I have been receiving more inquiries and opportunities to speak, do television appearances, etc. It only made since that I created a website for me personally that will serve as a web portal for me professionally.
As a blogger, many of you know how important it is to brand your name and have a powerful web presence. So on this site, I will share my professional side of Cubicle Chick, list my upcoming appearances, as well as share another glimpse of me that you may not get to see on TheCubicleChick.com.
